Alia Facilitates Resolution of Land Disputes, Paving the Way for Development
The Executive Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, hosted a delegation from the Nigerian Airforce, as well as representatives of Ugondo and Mbaivur communities, to peacefully resolve the lingering land dispute. Governor Alia’s efforts aim to attract more federal government presence, thereby bringing more development to the state.
In his address during the meeting, Governor Alia expressed his commitment to resolving the dispute, highlighting its strategic importance for the state’s development. The Chief of Air Staff has also shown keen interest in resolving the case, considering Benue’s strategic position.
The governor’s proactive approach and dedication to peace have earned him appreciation from various stakeholders, including community leaders and the Air Force delegation.
