Amo Byng Partners with Kwara Government to Support Soybean Farmers

Amo Byng Nig Limited has launched a partnership with the Kwara State Government to enhance local soybean production, addressing a critical shortage affecting poultry feed production in Nigeria. The collaboration, announced on July 16, 2024, aims to stimulate soybean cultivation and support local farmers by providing essential farming inputs and committing to purchase their harvest.

Ayoola Oduntan, Group Managing Director of Amo Byng Nig Ltd., emphasized the partnership’s significance in alleviating the soybean shortage and reducing feed production costs. The initiative also includes technical support and training for farmers throughout the production period.

Ayoola Belgore, Managing Director, expressed the company’s vision to expand the program beyond Kwara State, while Oloruntoyosi Thomas, Kwara State Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, praised the company’s commitment and reiterated the state government’s support for the project.
