APC Clinches Dandi/Arewa Federal Constituency Seat in Kebbi
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Alhaji Rabiu Garba-Kamba of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the rerun election for Dandi/Arewa Federal Constituency in Kebbi. With 32,432 votes, Garba-Kamba surpassed his closest rival, Abdullahi Umar-Kamba of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who polled 31,858 votes.
Prof. Aliyu Abdullahi-Turaki, the Returning Officer, certified the election, stating that Garba-Kamba satisfied all legal requirements and is hereby declared the winner and returned elected. This victory underscores the APC’s continued support and success in the region.
