Ayedatiwa Greenlights N1 Billion for UNIMED Senate Building
Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa has fulfilled his commitment to prioritize Ondo State Government-owned tertiary institutions by approving N1 billion for the construction of a new Senate Building at the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo. The announcement was made during the institution’s 5th Convocation Ceremony, where Governor Ayedatiwa commended the university’s leadership and stakeholders for their efforts in advancing medical education in the state. Celebrating the historical milestone of producing physicians within the state for the first time, the Governor urged graduating students to uphold the values instilled by UNIMED and make significant contributions to healthcare and society. Emphasizing the government’s commitment to essential infrastructure in state-owned institutions, Ayedatiwa also commissioned several projects on the UNIMED campus, reflecting the dedication to fostering educational excellence and innovation.
