Benue Delegation Arrives in Indonesia for International Debate Competition
A delegation from the Benue State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has arrived in Indonesia to participate in a bilateral international debate competition organized for basic education learners. Led by the Executive Chairman, Dr. Grace D. Adagba, the team arrived in Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia, after a 22-hour flight from Abuja. The competition, scheduled from May 6th to May 11th, aims to enhance participants’ essential skills by providing them with a platform to express their views on selected topics, listen to others’ perspectives, and think critically. Benue SUBEB emerged second at the national level of the competition held in Abuja in November 2023, with Kwara State securing first place and Taraba State coming third. The SUBEB boss’s attendance signifies unprecedented support, and the team comprises various officials and debaters ready to represent Benue State at the international level.
