Benue Governor Implements Reforms in Civil Service, Enhances Power Supply
Governor of Benue State, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia, is embarking on civil service reforms in the state to motivate and position civil servants for better performance. In pursuit of these reforms, he has connected Government House, Makurdi, and the Benue State Secretariat to a 330 KVA power supply source. The state secretariat will also be automated to improve efficiency and address issues like absenteeism from duty.
Furthermore, the Governor has pledged to clear backlogs of salaries and emoluments owed to workers and retirees in the state, emphasizing that a motivated workforce is key to enhancing productivity.
