Borno Government Prepares Dignified Burial for Late Spokesperson, Gusau
In a display of empathy and respect, the Borno State Government has finalized preparations for the burial of the late spokesperson to Governor Babagana Umara Zulum, Malam Isa Gusau. The funeral prayer is scheduled to take place at 4:00 p.m at the Central Mosque in Abuja on Sunday, January 14.
The State Commissioner of Information and Internal Affairs, Professor Usman Tar, conveyed this information in a statement on Saturday, expressing the state governor’s appreciation for the support and condolences received during this difficult time. The late Gusau, a member of various professional associations, served diligently as Special Adviser on Public Relations and Strategy.
The statement revealed that the remains of the deceased are expected to arrive in Abuja on Sunday afternoon. Late Gusau, who passed away in India, is survived by two wives, three children, brothers, and sisters.
