Borno government Supports NAF Fighter Jet to Neutralize ISWAP Terrorists, Destroys Training Camp
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), as part of Operation HADIN KAI’s Air Component, successfully neutralized numerous terrorists belonging to ISWAP in their training camp located in Bukar Mairam, Marte local government area of Borno state.
Counter-Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst, Zagazola Makama, cited intelligence sources confirming the strategic air strikes conducted on Saturday in the area. The strikes were carefully planned based on reports indicating ISWAP insurgents’ presence and their training activities, presumed to precede attacks on military positions around the Lake Chad region.
The fighter aircraft executed precise strikes, eliminating many ISWAP militants, with only a few survivors observed fleeing the scene. Moreover, significant terrorist infrastructure and resources were successfully destroyed during the operation.
