Commissioner Advocates for Quality Teaching in Lagos State Tertiary Institutions
Lecturers in Lagos State Government Tertiary institutions have been urged to uphold standards of quality teaching and actively contribute to the formulation and implementation of government policies in the State.
During a valedictory session held in his honor at the Lagos State University, outgoing member of the Governing Council and Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Hon. Tolani Sule, highlighted the significant resources allocated to higher institutions by the state government. He underscored the pivotal role of educators in shaping policies for the state’s development.
Hon. Sule assured continued government investment in higher education, emphasizing the correlation between teaching quality and graduate competence. He also solicited public support for the state administration’s palliative measures aimed at alleviating hardship.
The session, attended by university stakeholders and dignitaries, celebrated Hon. Tolani Sule’s contributions to the University’s development, recognizing his dedication and service.
