Confidence in Kogi Gubernatorial Election Victory – Ododo Speaks
Usman Ododo, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming gubernatorial election in Kogi, exudes confidence in the party’s prospects and believes there is no real opposition in the state. His unwavering optimism is undeterred by a recent court verdict returning Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan to the senate.
In response to concerns about his chances of victory in the governorship poll, considering Akpoti-Uduaghan’s win, Ododo stated that the APC faces no significant opposition in Kogi state. He emphasized his deep roots in the state, having been born and raised there, educated in the state, and serving in various capacities for over seven years, including as an auditor-general for local government. This extensive experience has brought him into close and direct contact with the people at the grassroots and financial levels to foster development.
According to Ododo, the APC in Kogi state is unrivaled, and the only thing left is for the party to officially announce its impending victory. He attributes any concerns about his chances to mere fears of defeat from the opposition.
