Cross River State Cracks Down on Illegal Medical Practices
The Cross River State Government has taken decisive action against illegal private medical laboratories and pharmacies, aiming to safeguard public health across the state. Commissioner for Health, Dr Henry Ayuk, emphasized the need to address unwholesome and unprofessional practices that endanger citizens. Illegal operators are given a two-week grace period to comply with regulatory standards; otherwise, the government will seal off non-compliant establishments without further notice.
