The government of Cross River State has vehemently refuted claims of corruption in the ongoing promotion exercise within the State Civil Service Commission. In a public service announcement, Dr. Innocent E. Eteng, the Head of Service, dismissed rumors of bribery and unethical practices, urging Cross Riverians to disregard such baseless information.

Dr. Eteng clarified that the State Government dissociates itself from any form of malpractice and cautioned employees against engaging in corrupt practices related to promotions.
