Ekiti Govt Approves Appointment of New Traditional Rulers for Araromi, Iyemero, Osi-Ekiti Communities
The Ekiti State Government has approved the appointment of new traditional rulers for Araromi, Iyemero, and Osi-Ekiti communities. The announcement was made by the Commissioner for Information, Taiwo Olatunbosun, following the state executive meeting presided over by Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
Stephen Adegboyega Alabi, a veteran journalist and broadcaster, has been appointed as the new Olosi of Osi-Ekiti in Ido/Osi Local Government Area. Prince (Ambassador) Bayode Akinsanmi Ayeni has been named the Olu of Iyemero-Ekiti in Ikole Local Government Area. Prince Babalola Adebomi Odimulele has been appointed as the new Alararomi of Araromi-Ekiti in Ijero Local Government Area.
These appointments, authorized under the Chiefs Law (2012) of the state, will be published in the state government Gazette. The new appointees bring a wealth of experience and qualifications to their roles, promising to uphold the traditions and development of their respective communities.
