Ekiti: Oyebanji seeks US partnership on food security, cocoa development

Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, has requested the support and collaboration of the United States to develop critical economic sectors of the state, particularly in food security and cocoa development. During a meeting with a team from the American Embassy led by Charge d’Affaires David Green, Oyebanji emphasized the importance of leveraging American expertise, resources, and investment to enhance the state’s economy, security, and innovation. He highlighted areas of potential collaboration, including agriculture, youth empowerment, climate change, healthcare, renewable energy, and investment promotion. The Governor expressed confidence that such partnerships would bolster the state’s economy, create jobs, and improve the citizens’ quality of life.
