Empowering Local Industries: Kaduna State’s Commitment to Investment
Kaduna State Government reaffirms its commitment to fostering local investment and industrial development, as highlighted during the 45th Kaduna International Trade Fair. His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani, emphasized the state’s strategic policies aimed at creating employment opportunities and driving economic growth.
Through initiatives such as ‘A kori Talauci’ and support for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), Kaduna State aims to strengthen household businesses and reduce poverty levels. The construction of Skill Acquisition Centres and empowerment programs for women and youth further underscores the government’s focus on skills development and entrepreneurship.
Additionally, favorable policies and incentives are in place to attract investors to Kaduna State, leveraging its position as a leading producer of maize, ginger, and tomatoes in Nigeria. The state government encourages collaboration with the private sector to capitalize on these opportunities and spur industrial advancement.
The Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mine, and Agriculture’s efforts in sustaining exhibitions for over four decades are commended, reflecting a shared commitment to promoting trade and investment in the region.
