First Lady of Cross River State Supports Transformative Health Initiative in Ebonyi State
Rev. Eyoanwan Bassey Otu, the Wife of the Governor of Cross River State, demonstrated solidarity with her counterparts in supporting the unveiling of the “Better Health for Rural Women, Children, and Internally Displaced Foundation” (BERWO) in Ebonyi State. Spearheaded by the wife of the Governor of Ebonyi State, Chief Mrs Mary-Maudline Ogbonna Nwifuru, BERWO aims to address critical health challenges faced by vulnerable groups in rural areas, emphasizing women, children, and internally displaced persons.
Rev. Otu commended the initiative, highlighting its potential to positively impact the lives of vulnerable populations. She praised BERWO as a pivotal step towards an empowered and inclusive community, projecting it as a beacon of hope for those in need.
The event witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including the Governor of Ebonyi State, Rt. Hon. BLDR.
