Gombe Governor Inuwa Yahaya Pursues E-Governance Partnership

Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State engaged in discussions with the Director-General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, emphasizing collaboration to enhance digital literacy and E-governance in the state. This partnership aims to bolster administrative efficiency and service delivery.

Focused on capacity building, the partnership aims to equip thousands of youths and women in Gombe with vital digital skills through extensive training programs. This move aligns with Gombe’s recent recognition by NITDA as the ‘Most Digitally Compliant State’ during the Digital Nigeria Conference Dinner and Awards 2023.

Under Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s leadership, Gombe State aspires to automate all government operations within four years, aligning with national efforts for a digitally inclined governance structure. Leveraging its skilled manpower, Gombe, recognized as the ‘Best State in Ease of Doing Business’ in Nigeria, looks to intensify its digital transformation efforts through collaboration with other relevant organizations.
