The Gombe State Executive Council has greenlit a comprehensive three-year Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) for submission to the State House of Assembly. This approval sets the stage for further legislative deliberation and endorsement by the state’s lawmakers, charting a strategic financial plan. Speaking to the press post-meeting, Mr. Salihu Baba Alkali, the State Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, highlighted the document’s depth, encompassing various assumptions derived from diverse economic landscapes—international, national, regional, and state-level contexts.
