Governor AbdulRazaq Commends Outstanding UTME Performance by Kwara Students

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State commends the remarkable achievements of students from both public and private schools across the state in the recently concluded Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Expressing delight, Governor AbdulRazaq highlights the outstanding performance of Master Samuel Olanrewaju Oluwasemilore from Government Secondary School, Omu Aran, who scored an impressive 358 in the examination.

The Governor extends congratulations to the exceptional 30 students from Kwara-based Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Model College, who achieved scores ranging between 355 and 300 marks. He also acknowledges other high-performing students from various schools in the state.

“These achievements serve as inspiring examples for younger generations to strive for excellence in their academic pursuits and bring pride to their families and communities,” Governor AbdulRazaq states.

He further emphasizes that such successes are not isolated events, citing Kwara State’s recent representation at the World School Debate in Singapore and other notable achievements in the education sector.

Governor AbdulRazaq assures the people of Kwara State of the government’s commitment to continually surpassing educational milestones. He highlights the positive impact of the KwaraLEARN program and announces plans for the statewide implementation of the tech-based learning initiative. Additionally, he announces the forthcoming launch of the Kwara State Education Trust Fund to enhance resource allocation and accountability in the sector, promising significant improvements in learning outcomes in the years to come.
