Governor AbdulRazaq Lauded for Forming Tripartite Committee on Minimum Wage Adjustment
The Labour movement in Kwara State has praised Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for swiftly establishing and inaugurating a tripartite committee to address the adjustment of the new minimum wage of N70,000 for workers. The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Trade Union Congress (TUC), and Joint Negotiation Council (JNC) commended the governor for being the first in Nigeria to form such a committee at the sub-national level.
In a joint statement, the union leaders expressed their gratitude and reaffirmed their commitment to the task. They lauded the governor’s dedication to worker welfare and promised to reciprocate his support with diligence in their work.
