Governor AbdulRazaq Upgrades Primary Health Centers with $500,000
Kwara State, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq approves a work plan aimed at upgrading additional Primary Health Centers (PHCs) with a $500,000 grant received for being recognized as the best in primary health care within the North Central Geopolitical zone. The State’s Executive Secretary emphasized the state’s progress in enhancing healthcare services, particularly in maternal and child care. She highlighted the significant increase in the number of health facilities transitioning into Comprehensive Health Centres and the state’s commitment to establishing functional PHCs in all wards.
This initiative aims to provide equitable and quality health services, especially in rural communities, resulting in greater immunization coverage and increased outreach activities catering to various health needs.
