Governor Abiodun Vows to Protect Ogun Territory Amid Border Concerns
Governor Dapo Abiodun has assured Ogun Waterside residents of his commitment to safeguarding the state’s borders and addressing concerns over incursions from neighboring states. During a meeting with community leaders and officials, Governor Abiodun emphasized that no part of Ogun would be ceded, and pledged to reinforce security to protect the area.
The Governor also committed to infrastructure improvements, including the rehabilitation of key roads and restoration of electricity in the region. Plans to establish a naval base and support the Deep Sea Port at Olokola reflect the administration’s proactive approach to enhancing local security and development in Ogun Waterside.
