Governor Aiyedatiwa Reaffirms Commitment to Security, Welcomes Supreme Court Judgment

Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has reiterated his administration’s dedication to strengthening security efforts, assuring residents that more support will be provided to security agencies to combat emerging challenges.
Speaking after the Supreme Court’s dismissal of an appeal challenging his candidacy, Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed confidence in the judiciary, describing the verdict as a reaffirmation of democracy, justice, and fairness.
“The ruling further proves that our victory in the election was clear, and the courts have once again upheld the will of the people,” he stated.
On security, Governor Aiyedatiwa acknowledged the recent challenges and assured citizens that his administration is actively equipping security outfits, including the police and Amotekun Corps, with necessary resources to enhance their effectiveness.
“We are investing in intelligence gathering, surveillance, and logistics to ensure a safer Ondo State. Security remains a top priority, and we will continue working closely with all agencies to keep our communities safe,” he emphasized.
He further disclosed that plans are underway to procure advanced security gadgets and equipment to strengthen law enforcement operations across the state.
