Governor Aiyedatiwa Reiterates Commitment to Implementation of Economic Relief Policies
Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has emphasized his administration’s dedication to investing in initiatives that benefit residents, support local businesses, and enhance the quality of life. This reaffirmation came during the 2024 Oka Day Festival, held at the Olubaka of Oka-Akoko Kingdom’s palace, where the Governor praised the community’s unity, peace, and rich cultural heritage.
In his address, Governor Aiyedatiwa lauded the Oka-Akoko community for its cohesive spirit and urged residents to continue working together to build a more inclusive and equitable community. He commended the festival organizers and volunteers for their efforts in making the event a success, and he reassured residents of ongoing collaboration with the Federal Government to address current economic challenges and improve food security through agricultural initiatives.
The Olubaka of Oka-Akoko, Oba Yusuf Adebori Adeleye, praised Governor Aiyedatiwa for approving crucial infrastructural projects, such as the Ayegunle to Iwaro road and rural roads from Ibaka to Afo, which are expected to significantly improve the community’s quality of life. The event was well-attended by key figures, including the Deputy Governor, Dr. Olayide Adelami, and other prominent officials.
