Governor Alia Champions Quality Education with Swift Intervention
In a swift response to concerns over unapproved school fees increments and autocratic practices at Excel Grace Academy, Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has demonstrated his commitment to quality education. The Directorate of Quality Assurance and Standard in Education, led by the Director-General, intervened promptly to investigate the matter.
The investigation confirmed claims made by parents, revealing an autocratic system at the school and exorbitant handling charges for WAEC and NECO, contrary to approved rates. The Governor, through the Commissioner of Education and Knowledge Management, is conducting further investigations with a determination to take appropriate action against the erring school.
