Governor Alia Praised for Transformative Leadership in Benue’s Local Government Projects
The Senate’s Consultant for States and Local Government Administration, Engineer Kayode Adegbayo, has lauded the exceptional work on the ongoing construction of the ALGON House in Benue State, highlighting Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia’s commitment to the welfare of the Benue people.
Adegbayo commended Governor Alia’s proactive leadership during his visit, noting the remarkable progress in local government projects aimed at enhancing grassroots development. The Consultant praised the administration for prioritizing projects that directly benefit the masses.
The consultant expressed admiration for the Special Adviser on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Dr. Dennis Akura, whose expertise as a former council chairman has driven significant reforms in local governance.
Adegbayo emphasized the importance of projects like the ALGON House in boosting internally generated revenue, which can be reinvested to create employment opportunities for youth at the grassroots level.
