Governor Namadi Enhances Security of Schools and Health Facilities in Jigawa

Jigawa State Governor, Umar Namadi, has taken a significant step towards enhancing the safety and security of schools and health facilities in the state by inaugurating a nine-member committee. The inauguration ceremony took place in Dutse, the state capital, where the governor was represented by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Malam Bala Ibrahim.

Governor Namadi emphasized the importance of the committee’s role in advising the government on security matters concerning educational and healthcare institutions. He congratulated the appointed members and urged them to diligently fulfill their responsibilities and justify the trust placed in them.

The committee, chaired by the State Commissioner for Basic Education, Dr. Lawan Yunusa Danzomo, includes key officials such as the State Commissioners for Information, Budget, Higher Education, and Health. Other members include the Permanent Secretary Special Services and Council Affairs, the Director Special Services, and the Governor’s Special Adviser on Security.

In his response, Dr. Lawan Yunusa Danzomo, speaking on behalf of the committee members, expressed gratitude for the appointment and assured the governor of their commitment to delivering results that will enhance the security of schools and health facilities across the state.
