Governor Nwifuru Applauds Ebonyi State Federal and State House of Assembly Members
Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State recently expressed his appreciation for the commendable efforts of the federal and state house of assembly members representing the state. He particularly lauded Pastor Eze Nwachukwu Eze, the representative of the Ebonyi/Ohaukwu Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, for his dedication in presenting a one-year account of his stewardship and empowering the people. Governor Nwifuru emphasized that the impressive performance of these representatives reflects the wisdom of the stakeholders and the people of Ohaukwu Local Government Area in electing capable leaders.
The governor highlighted the outstanding contributions of the Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chinedu Onah, who has shown remarkable leadership despite his youth. In recognition of Onah’s achievements, Governor Nwifuru announced the construction of the 24km Umuogudu Oshia-NIGERCEM road in Ohaukwu Local Government, slated for completion within 18 months. Furthermore, he commended the youth of Ebonyi State for their restraint during recent protests and announced an empowerment initiative that will grant 100 youths from each of the 13 Local Government Areas a sum of one million Naira each. The governor reaffirmed his commitment to addressing the needs of the people and promoting their welfare.
