Governor Nwifuru Commends INEC for Successful Bye-election in Ebonyi
Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State applauds the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the seamless conduct of the Ebonyi South Senatorial Bye-election in the state. Speaking to newsmen after monitoring accreditation and voting across polling units in Ebonyi South Senatorial Zone, Governor Nwifuru praised INEC for the timely commencement of the exercise and emphasized the importance of ensuring that the votes of the people count.
As the Chief Security Officer of the State, Governor Nwifuru expressed gratitude to Security Agencies for maintaining law and order during the exercise. He commended the people for their proper conduct before, during, and after the voting process, highlighting their role in the success of the election.
Senator David Nweze Umahi, the Minister of Works, shared optimism about the All Progressives Congress’s victory in the election, attributing it to the significant infrastructural and human capacity development implemented by Governor Nwifuru’s administration.
