Governor Nwifuru Grants Generous Christmas Bonus to Ebonyi Civil Servants
Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State made a heartwarming announcement, approving a N100,000 Christmas bonus for all civil servants in the state during his address at the flag-off event of a significant pet project at the ecumenical centre in Abakaliki.
Emphasizing the collective ownership of the state’s resources, Governor Nwifuru ensured that the citizens would not endure hardship, affirming his decision to allocate these funds from the state’s treasury to enhance the well-being of the workers. He highlighted the importance of sharing blessings during the festive season, emphasizing the need for leaders to play a role in uplifting the lives of their constituents.
The Governor pledged that discussions with local government chairpersons would ensure every worker received the N100,000 Christmas gift, alongside a bag of rice, as a gesture to spread joy and alleviate financial burdens during the holiday season.
