Governor Ododo Honored as Ambassador in the Fight Against Drug Abuse
The Kogi State command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has bestowed upon Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo the title of Ambassador in the War Against Drug Abuse (WADA) in recognition of his relentless efforts in combating drug abuse within the state.
During a courtesy visit to the Government House, Lokoja, NDLEA Commander Umar Mustapha Yahuza commended Governor Ododo’s commitment to tackling drug-related crimes, emphasizing the pivotal role of drug abuse in fueling various criminal activities.
In response, Governor Ododo reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering support for the agency’s anti-drug abuse initiatives, pledging to spare no effort in eradicating drug abuse from Kogi State. He commended the NDLEA for its dedication to fostering a drug-free society and assured continued collaboration in the fight against substance abuse.
