Governor Ododo Launches 170 Micro Projects under NG-CARES
Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo has initiated 170 micro projects under the Nigeria Community Action for Resilience and Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES), benefiting approximately 200,000 residents across Kogi State. The announcement was made during the training of Community and Group Project Management Committees in Okene.
Represented by Mallam Dauda Momoh, General Manager of the Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency (KCSDA), Governor Ododo reiterated his administration’s focus on poverty alleviation, hunger reduction, and promoting self-reliance. The Governor pledged continued support for community development projects.
The General Manager highlighted that these projects are aimed at improving the livelihoods of rural dwellers. Scheduled for full implementation by September 2024, the projects will directly impact many communities and are expected to be completed on time. The Governor’s administration is committed to ensuring that these initiatives reach their full potential and are effectively delivered to the people.
