Governor Ododo’s Commitment to Road Network Transformation Highlighted During Inspection of Zone 8-Crusher Road Project
In line with Governor Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo’s unwavering commitment to revolutionizing Kogi State’s road network, the Honorable Commissioner for Works, Engr. Mohammed Ahovi Yusuf, conducted an unscheduled inspection of the Zone 8-Crusher Road project in Lokoja on July 30, 2024.
During the visit, Commissioner Yusuf expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the project, emphasizing the Governor’s keen interest in ensuring timely delivery and strict adherence to quality standards. “His Excellency has directed us to expedite the project and ensure timely completion. We will not rest until we achieve the desired outcome,” he stated.
Accompanied by key officials from the Ministry of Works, including Permanent Secretary Engr. Emmanuel Audu, Director of Civil Engineering Engr. Sunday Baba, and Technical Assistant to the Commissioner Engr. Anthony Sule, the team was impressed by the advancements made on the project.
The Chairman of TEC Nigeria LTD, Chief Nwankolo Gabriel, and the project manager, Engr. Shaw, assured the Commissioner of timely delivery, citing the deployment of additional equipment and manpower to accelerate progress.
This inspection underscores Governor Ododo’s significant efforts in transforming Kogi State’s road infrastructure and his dedication to enhancing the state’s connectivity for economic growth.
