Governor Otu Appoints New Members to CROSIEC
Governor Bassey Otu has announced the appointment of eight individuals to form the Cross River State Independent Electoral Commission (CROSIEC). The announcement was made in a press release signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Gill Nsa, on August 15, 2024.
The newly appointed Commission is chaired by Mr. Ekong Edet Bocco. Dr. Lawrence Edu, Esq., has been appointed as Secretary. The other members are Mrs. Rose Banku Atep, Mr. Adoga Joseph Ipuole, Eutendala Eno, Barrister Daniel Edet, Dr. Eyo Otu Eyo, and Jerry Adie Akabisong.
The appointments are pending confirmation by the State House of Assembly, as noted in the release.
