Governor Oyebanji Calls for Federal Support in Advancing Ekiti Tourism

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, advocates for federal assistance in realizing the ambitious goals outlined in the Ekiti Tourism Development Master Plan. During a visit by Minister of Tourism, Lola Ade-John, to Ekiti for the Hike Mountain Safari and other tourism-related activities, Governor Oyebanji stressed the importance of strategic planning in fostering sustainable tourism growth.

Highlighting Ekiti’s vast tourism potential, Governor Oyebanji emphasized the need for world-class infrastructure and effective marketing strategies to position the state as a premier tourist destination. Minister Ade-John echoed these sentiments, expressing optimism about Ekiti’s promising future in tourism.

Director-General of the Bureau of Tourism Development, Wale Ojo-Lanre, underscored the economic significance of hiking and encouraged exploration of Ekiti’s natural wonders. Governor Oyebanji’s recent approval of the state tourism development plan reflects his unwavering commitment to leveraging tourism for economic prosperity, entrusting its implementation to the capable hands of the Ekiti Bureau of Tourism Development.
