Governor Oyebanji Illuminates Ekiti with Major Power and Infrastructure Approvals

Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State, fondly known as the “man of light,” continues to transform the state with his latest approvals aimed at improving power supply and infrastructure.

Egbewa/Falegan: The Governor has approved the repair of a 500KVA transformer and the purchase of an additional 500KVA transformer for the Egbewa/Falegan community in Ado Ekiti. This significant development is set to enhance the electricity supply in the area, providing much-needed relief to residents.

Ikere Ekiti: In a major boost for Ikere Ekiti, Governor Oyebanji has sanctioned the purchase of a 5MVA transformer to replace the damaged 2.5MVA unit. This upgrade will restore power to 14 transformer substations and ensure a stable electricity supply to Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Ikere Ekiti.

HMB – Jimoh Aliu Roads: The Governor has also approved the installation of solar streetlights along the newly constructed HMB and Jimoh Aliu roads. This initiative will enhance safety and security, while also promoting the use of renewable energy.

Omuo Ekiti: Light has been restored to Omuo Ekiti, much to the delight of its residents.
