Governor Oyebanji Leads Ekiti State to Tourism Excellence with UNWTO Partnership

collaborate with the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO),
highlighting its growing prominence in global tourism.

A distinguished UNWTO delegation is set to meet with Governor Biodun Oyebanji to craft a
comprehensive Tourism Development Master Plan. This initiative underscores the governor’s visionary leadership and Ekiti’s potential as a premier cultural and ecological tourism hub.

Governor Oyebanji’s administration has received accolades for its innovative integration of the
state’s rich cultural heritage with sustainable practices. The proposed masterplan aims to boost economic growth, job creation, and cultural preservation.

The UNWTO’s involvement signals a strong endorsement of Governor Oyebanji’s efforts,

Director General of the Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Development, Barrister Wale Ojo-Lanre,
