Governor Sule Commits to Enhanced NYSC Facilities with Construction of 3000-capacity Multipurpose Hall
Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has pledged to bolster the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) infrastructure by constructing a new 3000-capacity multipurpose hall in the state. The announcement, made at the closing ceremony of the 2024 Batch ‘A’ Stream II orientation course, underscores the government’s commitment to enhancing the welfare of corps members.
Acknowledging the scheme’s need for expanded facilities, Governor Sule affirmed his approval for the commencement of construction, emphasizing the hall’s suitability for various camp activities. He congratulated camp officials and corps members for a successful orientation exercise, urging them to uphold the values of duty, community service, and positive change throughout their service year.
The governor assured corps members of Nasarawa’s renowned hospitality and cultural diversity, underscoring the state’s appeal as a conducive environment for service and personal development.
Earlier, NYSC State Coordinator Alhaji Abdullahi Jikamshi urged corps members to approach their remaining service year with humility and dedication, emphasizing the importance of making meaningful contributions to their host communities.
