Governor Sule Sparks Prosperity with Nasarawa’s Lithium Venture
Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State celebrated a groundbreaking moment as he laid the foundation stone for the Ganfeng Lithium Mining Company Factory Project in Endo Village, Udege Development Area, Nasarawa LGA. This remarkable investment, amounting to 250 million US dollars, is set to unleash an astounding daily production of 18,000 metric tonnes of lithium.
During the ceremony, Governor Sule expressed his joy and fulfillment in witnessing the realization of a long-cherished dream. He emphasized that the Ganfeng Lithium Mining Company’s presence would not only bolster the local economy but also create numerous employment opportunities for the region and the state at large.
“I am a happy man today because I am satisfied and fulfilled. God has given me the opportunity to see the realization of my dream. Instead of illegal miners taking our products out of Nasarawa, we now have a thriving industry processing 18,000 tonnes of lithium daily,” Governor Sule proclaimed. The event was graced by dignitaries, including the Minister of Mines and Solid Minerals Development, Dr. Dele Alake, the Emir of Nasarawa, Ibrahim Usman Jibrin, and the Managing Director of Sinoma Nigeria, Mr. Qiao Qiufeng. This landmark project is a testament to Governor Sule’s dedication to driving economic growth and prosperity in Nasarawa State.
