Governor Uba Sani Strengthens Alliance with UN Women for Women’s Empowerment in Kaduna
Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, continues to champion women’s empowerment through a strengthened alliance with the United Nations (UN) Women Nigeria. Governor Sani recently hosted a delegation led by Programmes Specialist Mr. Zephenaia Aura, who commended the Governor’s unwavering commitment to enhancing women’s participation in economic and governance sectors.
During the meeting, the UN Women delegation praised Kaduna State’s impactful initiatives that have significantly improved the status of women. The upcoming UN Women’s Open Day for the North West, scheduled to be held in Kaduna, was highlighted as a key event that will bring together stakeholders to discuss strategies for advancing women’s rights and socioeconomic conditions.
