Governor Uba Sani’s Commitment to Healthcare and Education Advancement in Kaduna State
Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to addressing critical issues such as malnutrition, infant and maternal mortality, and the plight of out-of-school children within the state.
During discussions with a delegation from the United Nations International Children Fund (UNICEF) at the Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, Governor Sani expressed gratitude for UNICEF’s support, particularly their condolences regarding the unfortunate drone mishap at Tudun Biri community in Igabi LGA.
Recognizing UNICEF’s proactive interventions in maternal and child health, infectious diseases, and immunization, the governor commended their efforts. He reiterated the state government’s commitment to collaborating closely with UNICEF to surmount prevailing challenges and safeguard the lives of vulnerable populations, especially in rural areas.
Governor Sani emphasized the significance of primary healthcare as a cornerstone of societal well-being and stressed the allocation of substantial funds in the state’s budget for healthcare provisions. He emphasized that a healthy society is fundamental to achieving sustainable development, reaffirming his administration’s unwavering commitment to enhancing accessible healthcare services across Kaduna State.
