Governor Uzodimma Unveils 15-Point Agenda for Imo State’s Accelerated Development
Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State reaffirms his commitment to the accelerated development of the state with the unveiling of a comprehensive 15-point agenda. During a church service at Government House Chapel, Owerri, Governor Uzodimma outlined critical areas that align with the administration’s Shared Prosperity and 3-R mantra.
The 15-point agenda encompasses crucial sectors such as road infrastructure, education, health, sanitation, water supply, agriculture, food security, housing, new cities development, digital infrastructure, transportation infrastructure, market access, industrial policy, safety/security, enabling laws and policies, public financial management, and electricity infrastructure.
Governor Uzodimma solicited support and cooperation from the populace, emphasizing the need for peace, brotherly love, and collective efforts to develop the state. He urged citizens to fulfill their civic obligations and encouraged potential investors to establish industries, especially in rural areas, to create job opportunities for the youth. The Governor expressed the determination to make Imo State the industrial hub of the South East, Nigeria, and West Africa.
