Igbo Communities in Kwara Support Governor AbdulRazaq, Opt Out of Protests
Following an extensive meeting of all Igbo Communities in Kwara State, including town unions and outstations, several key resolutions were made on July 29, 2024. The community affirmed their support for Governor AbdulRazaq, recognizing his fairness and ongoing efforts to address collective challenges.
The Igbo residents in Kwara stated that there is no reason to join any national protest, aligning with the stance of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide. Emphasizing a divine injunction to seek peace in their place of residence, they resolved to continue supporting the Government.
The leadership, represented by Chief Boniface Chigozie Okeke, Barr. Chigozie Angus Igwebuike, Sir Engr. T. N. Njoku, and Sir Emmanuel Ezezue, directed all Igbos in Kwara to go about their normal businesses and refrain from protests, appreciating the Governor’s recognition and fairness.
