INEC Issues Governor Uzodimma Certificate of Return
Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State received his certificate of return following the peaceful conduct of the state’s governorship election. He commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for organizing what he described as the freest, fairest, and most peaceful election in Imo State’s history. Governor Uzodimma’s re-election was declared by the state’s Returning Officer, Prof Abayomi Fashina, after a meticulous collation process, where Uzodimma emerged victorious in all 27 local government areas. His victory marked a significant margin over his closest rivals, highlighting a sweeping win for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate.
