JIBWIS Commends Kaduna Governor’s Islamic Propagation Efforts
Bala Lau, the national chairman of Jama’atu Izalatul Bid’ah Wa Ikamatus Sunna (JIBWIS), has praised Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State for his consistent commitment to Islamic propagation, which preceded his tenure as governor.
During the annual preaching of JIBWIS in Zaria, Lau commended the Governor and announced the organization’s initiative to support underprivileged children’s education in medicine and engineering fields.
He revealed the organization’s objective of producing 455 medical doctors in Kaduna within four years through contributions from individuals within their respective mosques.
Lau also expressed gratitude for the Governor’s consistent support, stating, “Your Excellency, there was never a time when our national body’s request was turned down; he always used to say, ‘I am yours.’ Sir, we will never forget your kindness, and we pray that the Almighty God will bless you.”
The group also extended condolences to the Governor and the Emir of Zazzau over the unfortunate military airstrike that resulted in the loss of innocent lives in Tudun Biri community.
Responding, the Governor assured a delegation would assess the status of the JIBWIS vocational skills acquisition centre in Kaduna. He pledged to employ his resources to restore the center’s full operational capacity and collaborate to sponsor the education of underprivileged individuals in JIBWIS-owned mosques.
“I have instructed Mallam Albani, a member of the state parliament, to meet with the state chairman of JIBWIS and return next week to discuss necessary actions. I will contribute my resources to ensure the project becomes a reality,” Governor Uba Sani affirmed.
