Jigawa Governor Implements Performance Bond for Appointees
Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has introduced a performance bond, signed by Commissioners and Heads of Ministry, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), to ensure optimal performance in their official duties. The executive order establishes a Results Delivery and Performance Management Coordination Unit, monitoring appointees’ quarterly and yearly performance. The bond commits officials to delivering set targets, with failure resulting in termination. This initiative aims to enhance accountability, transparency, and efficiency in governance.
