This support aims to empower them to effectively fulfill their constitutional duty of safeguarding the lives and properties of the state’s cherished citizens.
Beforehand, General Okoro extended his warm congratulations to Governor Namadi on his resounding victory in the recent election. His visit was a sincere gesture to acquaint himself with the state and its leadership.
Furthermore, the GOC graciously acknowledged the state government’s generosity in donating land for the establishment of a vital Nigerian Army formation within the state. However, he humbly appealed to Governor Namadi to consider providing suitable accommodation for the commander of the 26th Armored Brigade, a request that reflects the collaborative spirit between the state and the military.
