Jigawa State Executive Council Resolutions Include Road Project Variations and Agricultural Support Scheme for Workers

The Jigawa State Executive Council has made several resolutions to enhance infrastructure development and support agricultural initiatives. These include approving variations in prices for 17 ongoing road projects, totaling over N13 billion. Additionally, the council has introduced the “Jigawa Worker Agricultural Support Scheme” (JWASS), which provides agricultural inputs loans to state workers to promote food security. Furthermore, the council has authorized the procurement of grains for Ramadan palliative support and appointed heads and governing council members for tertiary institutions in the state. These decisions underscore the government’s commitment to infrastructure development and improving the welfare of its citizens.
