Jigawa State Government and UK FCDO Strengthen Collaboration for Developmental Progress
The Jigawa State Government and the United Kingdom’s Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) have fortified their partnership to drive developmental initiatives in the state. Through a two-day Mutual Accountability Framework (MAF) and Strategic Dialogue, led by Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State and Dr. Christopher Pycroft, Development Director at UK FCDO, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to fostering development and implementing reforms for progress.
Governor Namadi expressed gratitude for the enduring partnership that has facilitated development in the state, highlighting achievements in healthcare investment, educational access, and social protection initiatives. He further pledged to enhance governance, stimulate economic growth, and harness technology for a digital economy.
