Jigawa State: Governor Namadi Signs Amended Health Insurance Law Benefiting 143,000 Residents
Governor Namadi has officially signed the amended law for the Jigawa State Health Insurance Agency (JICHMA), marking a significant milestone in 2024. The revised legislation incorporates crucial changes, including the enrollment of approximately 143,000 individuals from the 27 local government areas in Jigawa State. These residents will now benefit from the state’s free healthcare program, funded by the state’s indigent support fund.
